2022 Foundation Trust Emerging Artist Presents Mining Melrose 

Steve Aldeus, recipient of the 2022 Foundation Trust Emerging Artist Fellowship, presented his series exploring the historical experiences of black and brown communities in the city of Melrose through collage, assemblage, and painting. See more from the artist here.

Reflecting on stories and experiences of deep insecurities and countless questions about the ability to nurture and protect children due to the impact of surviving one’s own childhood trauma, Dr. Jana Pressley, Psy.D. and Kaitlyn Wilson, LICSW, offered suggestions to support parents and other caregivers in building self-awareness and self-compassion as they navigate their parenting journeys. This community event was part of the 2022 Foundation Trust Speaker Series.
